I've always had luck using FAIT (Fin's AI Tweaks) in conjunction with "AI CONFIGS FOR LUA SPAWN REWORK AND FINS AI TWEAKS." I tweak the AI settings a tad bit but one of the AI config presets (Hurt me plenty) is nice. Not too difficult but not too easy. Lowered the range at which certain AIs can attempt to attack the player with melee weapons. Map multipliers much more reliably reduce spawns. Couple of fixes for issues that could potentially crash the game or cause server errors. 1.18.0. As for mods, I use Fin's AI Tweaks and CP Spawn Rework. When you have both, you have to go into Fin's and disable spawn tweaks (so the two don't conflict). The reason I use CP Spawn Rework also is because that gives you finer-tuned options specifically for bot spawning. Fin's is great for bot loadout and behavior.In cp there is a insta spawn wave setting, there should be the same setting in fins try changing that to 1 or 2 for insta spawns.
